Job DescriptionThe Workday Financials Support Lead will be responsible for the following:

  • Leads and manages the functional process/ design for enhancements and Phase X projects
  • Enhancement and maintenance of clients financials business process
  • Creating and Updating Workday configurations based on requirement changes
  • Troubleshooting and issue resolution of production configuration
  • Leads optimization efforts to help customers update Workday to meet changing organizational needs
  • Focuses on identifying trends, determines root cause of problems, predicts future implications and determines solutions to drive effective business decisions
  • Supports release management, reviews release summary and releases readiness documents from system vendors
  • Identifies enhancements relevant to the financials system and impacts to downstream systems
  • Leads and/or mentors a team of 1-3 junior financial consultants to support multiple customers live in production

  • Basic Qualifications
  • Workday Financials certification required
  • Bachelors degree
  • Minimum of 2 years of Workday experience
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
  • Preferred Skills
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Accounting, or Finance related field
  • Experience implementing Workday Financials
  • Posses at least three certifications related to Workday Finance, Adaptive Insights, or Reporting
  • Keen understanding of the software development lifecycle
  • Sense of urgency to achieve timely, quality results
  • Varied activities in a fast-paced environment
  • Technical, analytical focus
  • Work within established standards and guidelines
  • Expertise-based, pro-active problem solving / decision making skills
  • Good documentation and communication skills
