Administrative Assistant II

OverviewPosition Summary
The Administration Assistant II is responsible for assisting with the facility administration of the Sumner office, including, but not limited to, facility management, general office support and security, and other necessary duties. Incumbent will assist with the management of various branch support services, expense billing, event facilitation, and general office supply procurement. This requires him or her to work cross functionally other Yusen Logistics divisions, as well as with various external parties.ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with the organization and tracking of facility lease agreements of the division.
  • Assist with office and facility moves.
  • Assist in the maintenance of Equipment agreements for warehouse facilities of the division.
  • Review monthly expense billing as needed.
  • Coordinate the standardization of vendors at all facilities (i.e. coffee; water, supplies, etc.)
  • Develop a partnership with all pertinent colleagues within Yusen Logistics and as well as external parties.
  • Assist with the facilitation and organization of various company meetings and events.
  • Work with various property managers to ensure a clean and safe working environment for all YLAT employees.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure that change management principles are applied to support current and future initiatives.
  • Manage office security; including inventory and preparation of employee and visitor access badges.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with CLG Divisional management) and counterparts in IT department.
  • QualificationsEducation and Experience
  • Associates degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • A minimum of 1 year experience working in business administration and hands on experience in every day administration works is required.
