JD : AWS Data Engineer
Visa Status: ALL ARE OKAY
Location: Must Be Local To New Jersey and NYC and the General Vicinity
Contract Length: Long Term
Years Experience: 3+ Years of Experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Coding Proficiency:
- Mandatory skills in SQL, Python, and PySpark.
- Desired expertise in Unix scripting.
- AWS Data Engineering:
- Hands-on experience in designing and implementing data pipelines on AWS.
- Successful completion of 2 to 3 real projects as an AWS Data Engineer.
- Ability to work on data pipeline tasks, including data ingestion, transformation, and delivery.
- Technological Expertise:
- Proficiency in utilizing AWS services such as S3, Glue, and Redshift/RDS for data engineering tasks.
- Knowledge of streaming ingestion using tools like Kafka/Kinesis or Spark Streaming is desired.
- Certifications:
- AWS Solution Architect Associate or Developer Associate certification is mandatory.
- AWS Data Analytics Certification is desired.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an AWS Data Engineer with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
