Bi Developer

Responsibilities:

• Develop reporting data sources with performant SQL statements to access data from multiple database sources.
• Develop and maintain reports, report schedules, dashboards, publishing, and user administration.
• Demonstrate the ability to optimize dashboards with large/multiple data sources.
• Understand key functionalities in Tableau: data connections, order of operations, discrete vs. continuous, etc..
• Research data issues associated with reports and source data accuracy.
• Quickly analyze complex data patterns in order to establish technical solutions to resolve data issues.
• Adhere to standards and processes to ensure the successful operational support required to ensure daily reporting information is timely and accurate, so that day-day-business decisions can be made by the Executive team.
• Attention to detail in a dynamic work environment balancing multiple projects and work activities.
• Comfortable working with a variety of teams and be able to communicate succinctly with technical and non-technical departments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• 5 yrs + related experience.
• Expert level with Tableau required.
• Strong SQL skills required, including custom SQL query.
• Strong skills in data analysis and data modeling required.
• Must be able to think critically to deliver existing performance analysis.
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation.
• Knowledgeable in all Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Project software application.
