Business Intelligence Developer

Responsibilities:

• Create, prototype, modify, test, and deploy reports to production while working closely with the end users.
• Understand data needs and translate user requirements into technical requirements.
• Analyze requests for data needs and prioritize project and ad-hoc efforts.
• Assist the data engineering team in designing data models for optimized Tableau Reporting.
• Manage Tableau security groups and row-level security within Tableau Online and reporting.
• Maintain Tableau Online report environment, monitor usage, schedule data extracts, and provide new user training for the business analytic groups.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues within the BI Environment and ETL processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, mathematics, or related fields.
• At least 5 years of work experience in data analysis and reporting, working directly with business customers, understanding their requirements, and recommending solutions.
• At least 4 years of experience writing complex SQL queries to pull data from the data warehouse.
• Knowledge in data visualization best practices.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and ETL.
