GlobalLogic is hiring for an Associate Software Engineer (C++/Embedded/Linux) in Dallas, TX. Please go through the job description below and let me know if you’d like to apply for this position. Title: Associate Software Engineer (C++/Embedded/Linux) Location: Dallas, TX Job Description • 1-2 years of experience in prototyping, software development, code review, and unit testing for embedded devices. • Excellent theoretical knowledge of Algorithms, OOP patterns, Multithreading • Excellent theoretical as well as partially hands-on experience with C/C++ (Preferred: C++11 or higher) • Good Linux ecosystem knowledge • Theoretical knowledge of the Linux Debugging methodologies Job Responsibilities • Coding, Debugging, bug fixing and so on that is required to release a software package. • Research and implement a functional requirement using up-to-date technology and skills. Nice-to-have Experience: • Embedded application implementation experience • Knowledge in audio/video/ALSA/encoder technologies • Experience in Web technologies (HTML, JS, CSS, WebRTC, etc.) • Knowledge in graphics programming (OpenGL, Skia, Wayland, etc.) Education: • Bachelor's or Master s degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
