Cloud Engineer

Role Overview- We are looking for a DevOps engineer to support a world-wide development team that is building cloud native products for real-time analytics and streaming applications. This is an intermediate position in product development, responsible for integrating Streaming products with cloud infrastructure, implementing DevOps pipelines and processes to support internal development, and deployment of SaaS Streaming applications on TIBCO cloud infrastructure. As a peer on a self-motivated team focused on developing an industry unique Streaming platform and applications, you would be responsible for ensuring that the platform and applications are easily deployed into cloud environments and that they are first-class cloud citizens. This will require you to perform these functions: implement CI automation to validate products and applications in cloud infrastructure. integrate SaaS applications into TIBCO cloud. configure and support internal demo and development environments, e.g. Vagrant, Docker, OpenShift, etc. integrate products with new cloud environments based on market demand. automate and support QA cloud testing. assist team members with trouble-shooting cloud integration issues. operational contact for SaaS TIBCO cloud deployments. You will also be expected to provide input into technical requirements for new product features to support cloud environments. This will require you to stay current on industry trends and competition. Your strong verbal and written communication skills will be needed to communicate both within the organization, and across organizational boundaries, to perform your responsibilities and to write clear and concise documentation.
