Data Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

Primary responsibility is to run the existing reporting on the Vantage and Hadoop platforms, to deliver on our existing client commitments.
Support analysis to create new pieces of work to support the Client Insights, utilising a range of data sources such as transactional data, customer data and geodemographic data.
Delivering SQL scripts and Tableau dashboards to meet the business requirements with strong performance and customer-centric thinking
Provide live support for any incidents and provide regular delivers as per the business schedule
Take part in initiatives to improve the accuracy, availability, granularity and coverage of our data
Create code and visualisations for new data products, using a range of analytical tools
Maintain data integrity on the delivery platform, ensuring that the underlying data is correct and can be used for reporting
Ensure all reports are generated correctly before sending to end consumers
Support in the incremental improvement of the system by identifying areas of operational weakness

Key Skills/Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in an analytical / statistical discipline required (e. g. Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Operations Research or related quantitative field)
Strong knowledge of SQL
Proficiency in data visualisation software, ideally Tableau.
At least 2-3 years of working within a data and analytics function/team and an understanding of big data platforms, data analytics and reporting tools and techniques
