Data Analyst

Requirements and skills-

• Proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst

• Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques

• Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc), databases (SQL etc), programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks)

• Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc)

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

• Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings

• BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics

• Strong knowledge of Python,Tableau,R,Power BI 

Responsibilities-

• Interpret information, apply statistical methods to results analysis, and produce continuing reports.
• Create and put into practice databases, systems for gathering data, data analytics, and other techniques that maximize the quality and efficiency of statistics.
• Gather information from primary or secondary sources, keep databases and data systems up to date.
• Finding, evaluating, and deciphering patterns or trends in large, intricate data sets
• Examine computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to filter and "clean" data and identify and fix any code issues.
• Prioritize business and information needs in collaboration with management.
• Find and describe fresh prospects for process improvement.
