Job Description :

Responsibilities:

  • Support a team of data scientists and analytics support.
  • Must have experience with machine learning, algorithm analysis, and data clustering.
  • Must have experience with software development, either an open-source enterprise software development stack  or a Windows development stack.
  • Must have experience with Cloud-based data analysis tools including Hadoop and Mahout, Acumulo, Hive, Impala, Pig, and similar tools.
  • Must have experience with visual analytic tools like Microsoft Pivot, Palantir, or Visual Analytics.
  • Must have experience with open-source textual processing such as Lucene, Sphinx, Nutch or Solr.
  • Must have experience with entity extraction and conceptual search technologies such as LSI, LDA, etc
  • Must have expertise in maintaining and deploying a notebook-based data science environment.
  • Must have experience in advanced Python data science packages.

Qualifications:

  • BA or MS in Software Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or similar OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5-10 years’ experience in data science, advanced analytics, machine learning, statistics.
  • Must have experience with Big Data Frameworks such as Spark or Hadoop.
  • Must have experience with Data Science frameworks such as Keras, Tensorflow, or Theano.
  • Must have experience with optimization, simulation, modeling, network science and structured analytics.
  • Must have experience with sampling, collecting, computing, analyzing statistical data and scripting and data analysis in R or Python.
  • Must hold the appropriate DoD 8570.01 baseline certification applicable to their work role prior to beginning work.
