Job Description

As a SaaS Cloud /DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and operating scalable cloud solutions in multiple clouds. This includes developing and coordinating cloud architecture to meet customer’s needs in a cost aware environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide input for project assignment (work breakdown) and delivery.
  • Participate in analysis, architecture, design, and development of cloud solutions.
  • Work with cloud architects and cloud engineers to break down and deliver designed solutions
  • Identify and raise technical, business, and operational risks and opportunities for increased automation.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking and growth mindset, enthusiastic about learning new
  • technologies quickly and applying the gained knowledge to address business problems.
  • Demonstrate collaborative, team-focused approach (succeeding and failing as a team)

Qualifications:

  • 3+ Years of proven experience with infrastructure as code cloud operations of a SaaS platform
  • Experience utilizing container solutions such as Docker and Kubernetes in SaaS cloud infrastructure
  • Demonstrate knowledge of AWS SaaS cloud architecture and implementation features (OS, multi-tenancy, virtualization, orchestration, elastic scalability)
  • Configuration Management and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation, etc...)
  • Experience with automation which also includes AWS CLI, Python, or Bash scripting
  • Experience with GitLab and setting up Pipelines for CI/CD
  • Experience with EKS and Helm Charts
  • Experience with Teleport (3rd party app for remote access into aws and databases)
  • Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery models and build/release processes
  • Familiarity with authentication patterns (IAM and MFA), monitoring, alerting, and logging tools
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks including SOX, ISO27001, or PCI DSS Compliance
  • Prior experience working with developers, SREs, DBAs, and/or Network Engineers to resolve bugs and performance problems
  • Ability to participate in Agile process and ceremonies
  • A strong desire to work with new and upcoming technologies
  • The ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects and remain calm under pressure
  • Demonstrates customer service and troubleshooting skills
