Devops Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with development teams to design and build IT infrastructure for development, test, staging, and production products.
• Coordinate with Senior members of the DevSecOps team to ensure secure and highly available build/test/deploy processes for IT infrastructure.
• Work closely with IT to support best practices related to security, application optimization, business processes, and issue resolutions.
• Administer servers by installing security patches, scripting database backup processes, and monitoring performance in Windows and Linux
• Identify and develop process improvements and efficiencies.
• Document system requirements and standard operating procedures.
• Apply software development lifecycle methodology to ensure quality applications are designed, developed and delivered.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of industry best practices for building and maintaining highly available and secure products on-prem and in the cloud.
• Demonstratable experience deploying and administering solutions in Amazon Web Services.
• Experience working in an agile development team environment using the scrum framework.
• Good communication skills and able to work in a team environment.
