Devops Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design and deploy cloud platform capabilities using AWS.
• Build pipeline supporting Continuous Delivery.
• Implement and enforce security policies and procedures.
• Creating monitoring and alerting capabilities.
• All standard systems administration tasks, such as: proactive performance tuning, load testing, monitoring and profiling, troubleshooting, back-up and recovery, installations, capacity planning, and configurations on an as needed basis as well as applying patches and performing upgrades.
• Manage Development, QA, and Production environments and implement future enhancements to meet business needs.
• Proactively manage and implement network security and keep abreast of current security best practices.

Requirements:

• 4+ years experience in Ops or DevOps role or similar discipline.
• Solid understanding of core AWS services and their management in production environments.
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle, test driven development, continuous integration and continuous delivery.
• Experience supporting the following Datastores/Databases.
• Knowledge of PCI/HIPAA and other security related standards and requirements.
