ETL Developer

Responsibilities:

Translate data movement requirements into technical ETL design.
Develop ETL workflows and mappings to extract, transform, and load data into target environments.
Develop test plans and perform unit testing of own work.
Create supporting documentation for new ETL processes.
Identify opportunities for improving efficiency and effectiveness of processes and controls.
Use standard ETL toolsets to develop and test ETL workflows.
Determine impacts of data warehouse structures and information flows due to changes in business or technical requirements.
Perform root cause analysis and contribute to the remediation planning and implementation.
Perform data quality analysis, report data quality issues, and propose solutions for data quality management.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
3 years of Information Technology experience.
Minimum of 3 years of experience using ETL software or equivalent data integration processes.
3 years of experience working with relational databases and dimensional data warehouse implementations.
3 years of complex SQL query development experience, preferably on multiple database management platforms.
3 years of experience translating business and data requirements into technical solutions.
Working knowledge of data warehousing concepts, data structures, and ETL best practices concepts.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and delivery results in a timely manner.

Key Skills:

SQL competence.
Understanding of data modeling concepts.
Knowledge of at least one ETL tool Informatica, SSIS, Talend, etc.
Knowledge of different SQL/NoSQL data storage techniques and Big Data technologies.
