WarnerMedia / AT&T.and interview some this week and next

The “Milestone 0” application is a POC project that received a lot of praise internally and was just funded by WarnerMedia / AT&T.

The app will provide a sort of automated questionnaire that project leads can answer. It will simplify and translate (return) the Security parameters and requirements that the individual project will need to meet AT&T and WarnerMedia standards. (For example, the Milestone 0 app will let them know what security requirements need to be met and will also tell them what internal security tools are available for their use in order to utilize and meet/satisfy the internal security requirements.)

Overall goal: This online app (web-based) will improve security adherence for all new projects within AT&T and WarnerMedia by providing a tailored list of security requirements for any users utilizing the cloud for projects.

The output will be a very clear and organized list that shows security requirements and avoids the unnecessary informational/supplemental security info that usually confuses users. It provides actionable items (for example Architecture suggestions, lists of security tools preferred, etc.) that will cover security requirements.

The app is focused on analyzing new projects built using the cloud (AWS).

It will eliminate confusion for non-technical team members and will help ensure security standards are met.

The app is being built using Angular, Node, Express, and MySql. It also involves the CI/CD with Jenkins / Ansible. They will use Git, HTML, CSS, general database management (MySQL), Linux, and will be using Agile.

The team will be all new development and will be built of 12 new team members.

There is already an internal CDP platform (CI/CD). So they will use the existing AT&T CI/CD pipeline and will not be setting up their own pipeline.
