Immediate need! DevOps Engineer

Role: DevOps Engineer

Location: Dallas, Texas 

Duration: 12+ months

Looking for candidates with at least 4 years’ experience specifically in DevOps and  1-2 years in Java development.

Description:

The individual must have good troubleshooting and problem resolution skills as well as clear communication and documentation skills. The team member should be able to clearly communicate project statuses, accomplishments and problems they are having. The team member should be able to troubleshoot the user’s problems by asking clear and concise questions on the issue to get to a resolution. Experience working with remote personnel is also beneficial. An understanding of the complete Software Development Lifecycle is a must with emphasis on version control, build, deployment and environment management. An understanding of multiple software development methodologies is also a plus. Development experience with JAVA and UNIX Shell scripting is a must. Experience with REST, Perl, SQL, JSON, XML, HTML, SFTP, SSH, HTTP/s, Key management, encryption, Windows and iOS is beneficial. Experience with the following application/tools is required: Apache Maven, Atlassian JIRA, Atlassian Bitbucket, Atlassian Bamboo, Git, Subversion, Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes, and AWS. Experience with the following applications is beneficial: Atlassian Confluence, Subversion, Jenkins, Eclipse, TortorseSVN, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Jboss, IBM DataPower, Apache Ant, Apache Tomcat, Apache Httpd, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office including Microsoft Project and Microsoft Visio.
