Infrastructure Specialist

Must have at least 8 years experience administering / maintaining the Linux (SUSE and Redhat) operating system and its associated software
Must have at least 5 years experience administering / maintaining the Solaris operating system and its associated software
Must have excellent problem determination skill and experience in successfully searching vendor knowledge bases, opening vendor support requests, and generating diagnostic reports
Must be able to identify, analyze, and resolve problems. Support problem and change tickets for client servers, including implementing changes to hardware and/or software. Interact with other teams as required to solve issues.
Must have an understanding of Ansible and Open Shift
Must be familiar with SAN storage and multipathing, Linux OS tuning, and handling of common configuration files
Must have an understanding of authentication and authorization technologies such as LDAP and Kerberos
Must be able to engage in problem solving to create a continuous improvement culture.
Must be able to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a demanding environment.
Must have fluent English speaking skills to interface with PMs and customer
Must have excellent interpersonal skills in dealing with other teams, account team, PMs, peers and customer
Must be located in the Austin, TX area since they will be onsite with the customer
Prefer someone with a basic knowledge of Agile methodologies
