Java Developer

As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Java applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Your role will involve writing well-designed, efficient code using best software development practices.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems, delivering high-availability and performance.
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Write well-designed, efficient code.
• Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications.
• Prepare and produce releases of software components.
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.
• Collaborate closely with other team members and stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven hands-on software development experience in Java.
• Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC) and Hibernate/JPA.
• Knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate).
• Experience in web development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Familiarity with build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
• Proficiency in version control (e.g., Git).
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with front-end frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue.js.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker.
• Certification in Java programming is a plus.
