Java Developer

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, test, and analyze implementation, functionality, performance, and tools of information system solutions, ensuring that requirements and acceptance criteria are met.
• Participate in design and testing reviews.
• Deliver technology solutions across the spectrum of mission area.
• Propose and participate in internal and enterprise development efforts.
• Team with a diverse group across varied fields to support product definition releases.
• Generate automated tests to verify new software functionality.
• Communicate effectively via both verbal and written means with internal and external customers to understand their technical needs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, software engineering, or software development plus 6 or more years of experience as a software developer or software engineer.
• In lieu of a degree, an additional 6 years of experience is required.
• U.S. Citizenship is required per Contract to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy Q clearance.
• Experience Java/J2EE, JavaScript, Oracle, and SQL.
