Job Description:
- Develop new JAVA applications.
- Enhance existing JAVA applications.
- Work with OIT to gather business requirements.
- Provide maintenance and support for the Department’s JAVA applications.
- Provide project leadership.
- Develop and enhance project and technical documentation.
- Mentor OIT staff in JAVA development skills.
- Ensure that the OIT’s SDF Standards and Procedures are followed.
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience working with Apache Tomcat application server software.
- 4+ years of experience working with users to gather and document business requirements.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and Department staff.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience working with Crystal Reports
- .Experience developing applications for the Department’s Division of Unclaimed Property systems.
