Role / Skills - Java FSD/Backend

Location – Hillsborough, NJ

Roles and Responsibilities:-

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining Java-based applications.
• Contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Writing testable, scalable, and efficient code.
• Test and debug new applications and updates.
• Maintain up-to-date code documentation.
• Participating in code reviews.

Must have:

• Java + Spring Boot (JDK 11+)
• MySQL 8+
• MongoDB
• Design patterns and best practices
• Understanding business requirements
• Troubleshooting / debugging.

Good to have:

• Node JS v12+
• Apache Kafka  

NICE TO HAVE:-

• Angular JS
• HTML/CSS
• CI/CD exposure with AWS
• Familiarity with Datadog   

• Proficient in Core Java, spring, hibernate, multi-threading, microservices technology using web technology.

• Strong in Spring, Spring Batch, Hibernate.

• Core Java (1.6/1.7/1.8), Collections, Multi-threading, Exception handling, DAOs

• Hands-on experience in Spring framework IOC, and MVC concepts.

• Hands-on experience in Hibernate, transaction management, relationship, and cache management.

• Experience in REST Web services. (Good to have)

• Good to have knowledge in Servlets, JSPs, and Struts2.x framework.

• Hands-on experience in WebSphere Application Server, Apache Tomcat, deployments, building scripts, etc

• Ability and confidence in troubleshooting issues such as: configuring runtime environments, performance tuning of database queries, operating system compatibility

• Knowledge of Database Design, Views, Indexes, etc.

• Knowledge of scrum agile
