The Systems, Data, and Reporting for Enrollment Management team is seeking a curious and data-driven individual to assist with the analysis of undergraduate enrollment data to uncover trends across the enrollment cycle. The Part-Time Data Analyst Assistant will partner with members of the Enrollment Management team to analyze communication, event survey, and enrollment data with the main goal of finding patterns that may influence decision making. The Assistant should be thoughtful and highly organized, with an emphasis on ensuring confidentiality while working with prospective undergraduate student datasets. The Assistant will be fully trained in all areas needed to be successful in the role.

• Complete training and onboarding of Technolutions Slate CRM
• Build and copy Slate queries and reports
• Analyze enrollment and survey data
• Compose abstracts/briefs to summarize findings
• Join bi-weekly team meetings, when available

Required background

• Currently enrolled in a graduate degree program
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Experience manipulating and analyzing large datasets
• Proven track record of handling sensitive information with the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality

Skills

• A keen eye toward uncovering trends
• Basic to intermediate modeling experience
• Ability to work independently and, at times, with limited supervision in a remote capacity
• Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential
• Strong interpersonal skills; proven capacity to communicate clearly
• Ability to think critically and to make sound recommendations
• SQL proficiency preferred
• Intermediate Excel proficiency
• Basic Word proficiency
