MQ Integration Architect

Duties & Responsibilities:

Experience in administration, configuration, and upgrades for IBM-MQ, IBM-MQFTE or any other message platform. Axway and DataPower knowledge a plus.
Utilize DevOp's core principles in your daily work.
Design, develop, and implement integrations based on use feedback.
Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with the development team to streamline code deployment.
Implement automation tools and frameworks (Ci/CD pipelines).
Analyze code and communicate detailed reviews to development teams to ensure a marked improvement in applications and the timely completion of products.
Collaborate with team members to improve the company’s engineering tools, systems and procedures, and data security.
Deliver quality customer service and resolve end-user issues in a timely manner.

Minimum Qualifications:

Degree in Computer Science or another related technical field.
10+ years’ experience as a Middleware Engineer or equivalent software/development/engineering role.
Working knowledge of databases & Network configs used by IBM Messaging products
Experience with software development methodologies and SDLC.
Candidate possesses a problem-solving attitude and can work independently.
Must be very organized, able to balance multiple priorities, and self-motivated

Technical Skills:

Need an MQ Integration Architect to join the Integration Services Team.
This team is responsible for B2B gateways that support the ability to communicate with suppliers, customers, and partners.
Technologies for managed file transfer, messaging, and services.
This position will report to the Integration Services Manager and can be remote.
The candidate will develop software to integrate internal and cloud systems.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IBM software engineering and will employ DevOps tools to improve accessibility, visibility, and production stability.
Experience with IBM MQ, IBM-MQFTE, is required.
