Power Bi Developer

Job Description:

With limited direction, develop and maintain Microsoft Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations to meet the business requirements.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting and data analysis requirements and translate them into effective Power BI solutions.
Design and develop data models and data transformations in Power BI to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
Perform data profiling and analysis to identify data quality issues and work with the data team to resolve them.
Optimize Power BI reports and dashboards for performance and usability.

Requirement:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent work experience.
3-5 years experience with Power BI Development.
Strong understanding of Power BI platform including workspaces, deployment pipelines, dataset creation and maintenance; data hub exploration, PowerBI desktop and report builder required.
Proven experience with Visual Studio for Enterprise-Wide model development.
Ability to create reporting solutions from blue printing through implementation.
Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel and integration points with PowerBI.
Understanding of MS Purview for data classification, definitions, and cataloging a plus.
Understanding of SAP AFS Functional Areas: Sales and Distribution, Order to Cash, Material Management, Procure to Pay considered a plus.
