QA Automation Engineer

Responsibilities:

Identify web application vulnerabilities through rigorous testing procedures.
Develop ideas for testing and the procedures to perform those tests.
Review web application bugs and highlight the areas that are of issue.
Write programming codes to improve the automation process of testing web application.
Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing features to meet client needs.
Liaise with internal teams to identify system requirements.
Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.
Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
6+ years’ experience in Quality Assurance role.
Experience in developing automated test cases in at least one programming language.
Proven work experience in software quality assurance, especially web applications.
Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.
Strong knowledge in common web application technologies.
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
