QA Automation Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Participates in scrum ceremonies, always acting in the capacity of a QA Ambassador, ensuring high standards of quality in all team activities and decisions
• Develop a thorough understanding of the wealth platform to better understand testing needs and client expectations.
• Write and execute basic SQL queries to validate data and support testing activities, leveraging knowledge of databases such as SQL and Snowflake.
• As part of the responsibilities for this role, you will understand and readily support Envestnet's established corporate business practices, policies, internal controls and procedures designed to create value or minimize risk.

 Qualifications:

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related subject.
• 1-3 years of experience in software testing.
• 2+ years experience with backend testing/API testing using Postman.
• 2+ years hands-on automation experience with automation tools like Cypress, Selenium WebDriver and Page Object Model Structure.
• 1+ years of experience in an Agile, CI/CD based environment.
• 2+ years of experience creating and executing SQL scripts.
• 1+ years of experience creating automation tests in a QA automation framework. These may include but are not limited to: Page Object Model Selenium WebDriver framework.
