Job Description :

Provide technical support for Microsoft Systems Center Operations Manager 2016 (OpsMan) and Microsoft SQL as they relate to the SSA’s OpsMan 2016 infrastructure.

Activities:

Monitor and update the OpsMan SQL alert database on a daily basis.
Monitor and prune SQL database on a daily basis.
Maintain alerts, alert notification groups, and management packs.
Use Microsoft SQL Reporting Services (SRS) to prepare reports from OpsMan database.
Create and document custom alerts using PowerShell, and the OpsMan Authoring Console.
Document solutions for preventive maintenance.
Analyze and document the OpsMan environment.
Configure OpsMan management group settings
Maintain System Center Orchestrator, and develop, troubleshoot, and maintain Orchestrator Runbooks.
Troubleshoot Windows Server 2012 and 2016 software and hardware issues related to the operation of the SSA’s OpsMan infrastructure servers.
SUS updates tested on SCOM and Orchestrator servers
Orchestrator 2019 upgrade testing and planning

Operations Manager: install, maintain, troubleshoot, restore, customize MPs, etc.
SQL Server Administration: install, maintain, troubleshoot, restore, etc.
Structured Query Language (SQL): writing SQL queries
SQL Always-On Availability Groups
PowerShell (also any other programming languages)
Orchestrator: install, maintain, troubleshoot, restore, author runbooks, etc.
Microsoft Azure: will be working in an increasing hybrid physical/cloud environment
VMWare
