Senior Accountant

Play a major role in day to day operations and month end close, including Fixed Asset purchase capitalization, journal entry preparation as well as performing analytics and reconciliations Research and advise on various accounting topics and transactions as they arise Assist the SOX/internal control team to develop and maintain control procedures and related documentation Support global and regional interim and year-end financial statement audits Assist in the preparation and maintenance of Fixed Asset reports (Roll Forward, Depreciation, various schedules) Coordinate projects and initiatives with other members of the Accounting, Tax, Financial Systems, and Procurement teams Key Characteristics & Experience Detail-oriented & self-sufficient Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines 3 to 5 years progressive work experience in an accounting environment Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel Hands on experience with ERP systems (Workday, SAP, Oracle, etc.) Has a comprehensive knowledge of GAAP
