Software Engineer

We are looking for strong full-time Software Engineers (New Graduate). The ideal candidates should have interests in big data to help design and build a next-generation data cloud. As a key team member, you will learn and contribute end-to-end for critical architectural decisions that will shape the technology stack for years to come. There is also the opportunity to make an immediate impact to the big data stack at multiple well-known silicon valley startups (our design partners) simultaneously.

What You’ll Do

Software Engineering:

• Move fast but write high-quality code with highly leveraged impact.

• Design flexible architecture and present to our internal teams and design partners.

• Contribute to developer productivity and infrastructure improvements of our startup.

Thought leadership:

• Learn from the frontier of the big data industry: Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Trino, Spark, and many more open-source and cloud big data components.

• Innovate to solve those problems with fast prototyping and flexible architecture.

Background and Skills

• Proficient in at least one coding language: Python, Java, Javascript, SQL

• Excellent communication skills.

• Previous project experiences are a big plus.

• Coding Competition (CodeForces, ACM/ICPC, TopCoder, Google Code Jam, etc) experiences are a plus.

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience with the big data ecosystem.

• Experience with cloud, containers, and popular front-end technologies.

• Experience in writing production-quality code
