Software Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design and build a scalable, reliable, secure, and performant cloud-based infrastructure for a modern SaaS solution.
•  Environments and ensure that best practice is followed when it comes to releasing management.
• Manage the day-to-day relationship between us and our part-time remote Sysadmin team.
• Administration at Akkroo looks like as we develop as a business and solution.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years in a technical role such as DevOps Engineer, Systems Administrator or Site Reliability Engineer, or equivalent in production cloud environments, delivering customer-facing web applications and/or online services.
• Familiar with security best practices and knowledge of common security technologies and services like firewalls, VPNs, IDE or SIEM, and endpoint protection.
• Experience in managing and improving both development and production infrastructure using tools such as Ansible to automate as much as possible.
• Experience with both NoSQL and SQL database administration.
• Knowledge of best practices in release management.
