Sr Data Analyst

Qualifications

MS or PhD in statistics, applied mathematics, operations research, economics, or a related field.
Aptitude for quantitative problem solving and precision.
Experience in data analysis and strong computer skills.
Ideally, an excellent working knowledge of Base SAS, SAS/STAT, SAS SQL, and advanced SAS DATA step and macro programming on a UNIX and Windows platforms.
Ability to work collaboratively in an informal, collegial environment.
Ability to work effectively under deadlines.

Responsibilities:

Provide statistical analysis of datasets using software such as R or Python, including thinking critically about results and assisting with common analysis including correlations, linear/logistic/Poisson regression, multi-level models, survival analysis, principal components analysis, meta-analyses, simulations, and looped analyses to systematically run thousands of permutations on a given analysis.
Manage a database containing multiple cohort studies that we use for the study, including ensuring data security.
Data cleaning, manipulation, and troubleshooting, and prepare descriptive analyses.
Assist in manuscript preparation and perform literature reviews.
Assist in grant submissions and provide administrative support to the dry lab.
Correspond with internal and external stakeholders, including funders and collaborating researchers.
