Sr Data Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Analyzes data and information understanding how the data maps by identifying appropriate data sources.
• Performs problem and opportunity identification and framing.
• Performs data analysis and validation assisting in standard operating procedures.
• Discovers source data that causes problems downstream and uncovers patterns by exploring data.
• Develops reports and dashboards of moderate complexity and translates data to provide meaningful insights.
• Identifies, analyzes, and devises solutions to business and technical problems using information assets.
• Creates reports answering non-standard end-user questions.
• Recommends opportunities to improve processes.
• Automates delivery of standard reports.

 Qualifications:

• Attention to detail experience demonstrating proven analytical and technical acumen.
• 3-6 years in data analysis, information analysis, or similar field.
• One to two years experience with analytics tools (such as SAS, Tableau, and PowerBI).
• Knowledge of database programs and spreadsheets, technical data queries, and reporting tools.
• Knowledge of data extrapolation, interpretation, and chart compilation.
• Knowledge of SAP data.
• Experience with financial and operational data within projects.

Key Skills:

• Advanced knowledge of data analytics, cleaning and preparation.
• Proficiency with data modeling and data analysis tools.
• Expertise in programming languages Java, Python, R, SAS, Scala, SQL.
• Experience with statistical and mathematical analysis
