ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Design and build applications for the Android platform; this is a hands-on developer position. Ability to work independently would be preferred
2. Work with cross functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
3. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
4. Identify and root cause performance bottlenecks, random crashes, and fix bugs
5. Help maintain code quality, perform peer code reviews, write unit tests, enable automation and localization
6. Stay up-to-date with technical trends and suggest solutions.
7. Gradually take on more responsibility and have a bigger impact on more challenging tasks.
Key Skills:
1. 2 years development experience proficient in Java, Kotlin, Android SDK.
2. Understanding of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
3. Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks.
4. Familiarity with offline storage, threading, performance tuning, integrating with backend services using API, JSON web services.
