Application Support Analyst

Bytecurve-360 is a web-based hosted application that offers an end-to-end operations management solution to Transportation Directors of school districts and providers of outsourced student transportation services.

We are looking for an IT Support Analyst to work out of our office in Naperville, IL.

This is a hands-in role with two primary responsibilities:

(i) On-boarding new customers: this would involve data preparation, application configuration, and some end-user training

(ii) Post go-live support taking calls from already on-boarded customers.


  • Engage with new customers to gather detailed information about their student transportation operations and establish business requirements to configure and set up the application.
  • Review customer requirements with the internal product team and identify configuration parameters and other technical criteria for successful on-boarding of the customer.
  • Work with the product team to perform various activities required to set up the customer per their specific requirements. This would involve working with the applications web-based configuration screens, data manipulations using Excel, and bulk upload of data using different application specific tools.
  • Work with customers to validate the set up. Identify and diagnose issues, and work with the team towards the resolution of such issues.
  • Provide customer support and answer how-to questions related to the application during on-boarding and post go-live.
  • Work independently with minimal guidance.
  • Manage multiple implementations simultaneously as different customers may be in different stages of on-boarding.
  • Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years work experience in a support role of a web application.
  • Basic understanding of web technologies and relational database concepts
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel.
  • Experience developing end-user training material and/or delivering training to application end-users preferable.
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Strong team player with demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with teams.
