Application Testing Coordinator

UHS Corporate Office – Wayne, PA

Salary : $50000 - $70000  / YEAR

Key Responsibilities include:

Ensures adherence to appropriate UHS Project Management standards.

Creates, maintains and executes user acceptance testing across application groups.

Ensures strict adherence to testing plans, reporting all serious deviations to management.

Demonstrates understanding of workflows required to support application testing event.

Demonstrates analytical problem solving.

Plans, coordinates and manages multi-disciplinary testing events with 50+ participants.

Regularly meets with users and IS staff to develop/modify test scripts based on system specifications to ensure quality and usability of Cerner functionality.

Assists teams with execution of test cases/scripts as identified per test process.

Ensures that testing participants are properly trained in performance of their duties as required.

Provides test development support and guidance to other team members as required.

Provides tracking and reporting of issues, software defects and outcomes of testing cycles to appropriate management staff.  .

Suggests and actively participates in test process improvements.

Trains and mentors new team members.

Demonstrates strong time management and organizational skills and is able to manage multiple projects at once.

Job Requirements

Position Requirements:

2+ years performing black-box testing preferred. 

Experience developing test plans / test cases and setting up testing locations and test tracking process. 

Experience in documenting defect tracking and reporting to appropriate staff.

Proficient with all Microsoft Office applications.

Working knowledge of IS standards and quality methods.

Maintains a working knowledge of user business practices, concepts and terminology to support the testing process. 

A quick learner of software and information technology and motivated to learn new applications and business operations.

Excellent interpersonal, communication and documentation skills among facility customers and team members.

Demonstrates customer-oriented service excellence principals, as outlined in UHS corporate standards.

Self-disciplined, able to work independently, but also able to take direction when necessary.

Self-motivated to identify and resolve issues and advance personal knowledge.

Very organized and detail-oriented.

Excellent written and verbal fluency.

Flexible with time.   

 

Travel Requirements: 10 – 30% domestic US travel (depending on projects).
