Big Data Developer Java/Spark

Job Description :

Responsibilities:

• Responsible in delivering business requirements to design and develop frameworks in big data platform using Spark/Hadoop.
• Design and analyze data models, data flows and integration patterns to build robust and configurable solutions.
• Perform related SDLC activities like sprint planning and estimation.
• Work in a fast paced environment and adapt to the rapid changes in the software industry .
• Partner with team members as well as cross functional partners to support business processes and solutions.

Mandatory Skills:

• 5+years of Development experience with expertise in the following: - Java server side development, Python, Apache Spark, In-memory databases, SQL, Linux, Hadoop Ecosystem (HDFS, Impala, HIVE, HBASE, etc.)
• A history of delivering against agreed objectives
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
• Ability to pick up new concepts and apply the knowledge.
• Demonstrated problem solving skills
• Enthusiastic and proactive approach with willingness to learn
• Excellent analytical and process-based skills, i.e. process flow diagrams, business modelling, and functional design;
• The candidate is expected to be dynamic, flexible with a high energy level as this is a demanding and rapidly changing environment
