Job Description:

  • At least ten years’ demonstrated experience developing software according to software development lifecycles (SDLCs), including DevOps, Agile, Lean, Iterative, or Waterfall.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Big Data architecture, design patterns, and repositories such as data lakes and data warehouses.
  • In-depth understanding of developing against Big Data technology stacks.
  • In-depth understanding of how to optimize automated ETL processes when working with large structured and unstructured data sets (TBs+ range).
  • Atleast ten years’ demonstrated experience with:
  • Object-oriented programming languages and frameworks such as C#, Java, Python, Scala, .NET, Spark, Spring, or Hibernate.
  • Scripting languages such as JavaScript, Node.JS, or Shell script.
  • Developing automated extract, transform and load (ETL) and extract, load, and transform (ELT) processes using major tools such as Informatica PowerCenter, Apache NiFi, Data Oracle Integrator,
  • Microsoft SQL Server Integrated Services (SSIS), IBM Infosphere Information Server, or SAP BusinessObjects Data Integrator.
  • At least ten years of demonstrated experience with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle, and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, CouchDB, HBase, Cosmos DB,
  • Oracle NoSQL Database, or Cassandra DB.

General Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the related field.
  • Ability to engage stakeholders, understand their needs, and then translate those needs into a minimum viable product.
  • Ability to translate analytic insights into concrete, actionable recommendations.
  • A collaborative, analytical thinker with outstanding written and oral communication skills and problem-solving capabilities, with high attention to detail.
  • Detail-oriented, self-starter with excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to work well within cross-functional teams composed of business and technical team members.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Proficient in using Office 365, SharePoint Online, SharePoint, and Visio.
  • Understanding of Federal Information Security regulations, standards, and practices such as the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA).
  • Understanding of Information Privacy concepts and best practices.
  • Understanding of Information Security and Compliance and Privacy concepts related to the handling of sensitive information.
  • BSc/BA in computer science, economics, mathematics, or relevant field or equivalent experience required
