Summary of Position

The Client Management Executive (CME) is responsible for the markets delivery of the client service experience, as well as the execution of strategic initiatives, risk management and oversight, and business management functions across the market and all functional disciplines in mid-large sized and/or complex markets.

Acts as a market-level COO on Market Management Team (MMT) to identify and implement process improvement, drive resource allocation and efficiency, and ensure adherence to risk and compliance policies and regulatory standards. Works in close partnership with all members of MMT, Trust and Investments National Practice Groups and control function partners in HR, Finance, Risk, Compliance and Business Control Management.

Has responsibility for budget/financial management, personnel processes, audit/compliance, space/resource allocation, associate training, client service processes and events, process improvement, business continuity and market communication. Maintains key focus on oversight and administration and partners as applicable with functional experts to ensure execution and completion of key activities, including but not limited to KYC, account opening, Money Movement Disc Distributions, Asset Allocation Monitoring, Reg 9, Investment Policy Statements, ARQs, etc.

Responsible for the performance and talent management of all business support functions including business support leads, Sr Client Associates, CSSOs, PM Associates, PM Assistants, Associate Trust Officers and Trust Admin Officers. Partners with functional leaders to ensure executive support including career sponsorship and technical coaching are provided within each respective discipline. Reports to Divisional CBME.

Major Responsibilities:

Client Service Experience

Execute at-risk and client retention process Drives the client experience including ownership of client issues, client satisfaction and delivery of Private Bank full capabilitiesDrive execution of Market level Client Advisory Councils

Risk Management

Work with key partners to mitigate fraud and service risk Drive understanding & adherence to policy & procedures across marketSIAI - Proactive identification and resolution of issuesManage client compliant process

Strategic Execution and Initiative Planning

Develops market-level strategy/business review presentationsDrives execution of business initiatives across marketOwns market-wide communication strategy

Business Management & Reporting

Drives MMT leadership and market-level business routinesPartner with Finance on budgetary and expense managementPartner with Corporate Workplace on space planning and office needsEnsure completion of all administrative functions across marketDrives process efficiency and execution across market (all disciplines) to increase ease of doing businessBusiness performance tracking across key metricsCompensation tracking & reporting (including AGA execution)Oversee coordination of Business Continuity plans and activitiesCoordinate training participation of client teams

Management of Business Support Team & CSSO, TAO, PMAsst/Assoc Population

Recruit, develop, and retain business support talentPerformance mgmt and comp decisioning of business support teamPeer mentor and coach as applicable for Business Support Mgrs

Oversight and Administration

Owns key oversight functions such as KYCs, Money Movement, account opening, Disc Distributions, Asset Allocation Monitoring, Reg 9, Investment Policy Statements and ARQsCoordinate risk/oversight priorities across the marketEnsures market completion of mandatory training
