Hermes Microvision, Inc. (HMI), an ASML company, is a leading supplier of advanced E-beam inspection and pattern verification systems used for advanced semiconductor devices. The Computer System-Architect mission is to create, define, realize and optimize the structure of new and existing computer system that are embedded into HMI E-Beam products. Define multiple functional computers configuration to meet function and performance requirements from software development(SDEV), electronic development(EDEV), image data processing. You are a key technical contributor to a multidisciplinary team of designers who act on (sub-)system level.
The key responsibilities of the position are as follows:
Deep knowledge at top PC and Server vendors product trend, segmentation and road map..
Contribute to computer systems road map of HMI E-beam products by managing the used building-blocks based on knowledge of existing Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) solutions, industry standards and next generation forecast.
Participate in the design and realization of the computer systems to adapt to various interface controllers (cards)from SDEV, EDEV.
Image data processing requirements, such as QIDR, PCIE, MOXA and network interface controllers.
Create new structure of computer system at increasing data transfer speed ( Such as define 10GbE ethernet switch ,cable, optical fiber communication, InfiniBand networks and etc. for Windows and Linux ),
Racks Thermal and Flow control, KVM interface selection,
Performance Optimization and Cost Reduction.
Perform trade-off studies to determine the preferred implementation scenario for new or changed functions.
Get agreement with stakeholders.
Manage outsourcing of computer systems interface control and other electronics related modules
Solving problems during prototype integration.
Master or PhD. degree at Computer Engineering , Electrical Engineering with 3+ years experience at equipment control and computer system architect area
Broad technical knowledge of: Computer Hardware, Windows and Linux operating systems, Networks and Storage.
Hands-on experience at computer, interface controller, network devices and system
Eager to take the technical lead role in complex situations and drive results.
Strong analytic capability and a pro-active initiating attitude.
Good communication skills with R&D engineers in a project intensive environment.
