PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITIONWe are looking for a smart, energetic, highly motivated person to join our family of employees on the ground-floor of this start-up as we build a business into a movement. 1. Manage day-to-day fleet operations to ensure excellent condition of vehicles, minimize downtime and maximize results.

  • Manages execution of all day-to-day operational duties.
  • Manages fleet of vehicles including onboarding and de-fleeting vehicles, maintenance, repairs, etc.
  • Works with Risk Management team to satisfy all insurance related claims in a timely manner.
  • Identifies customer and fleet needs and develops new processes where needed to continually improve Steer as it grows.
  • 2. Manage the concierge team to deliver superior customer service and grow membership and subscription services.
  • Manages Concierge(s) and the vehicle delivery processes and services.
  • Participates in the training and development of all Steer personnel.
  • Manages current & potential client requests.
  • Oversees ancillary needs of Steer subscribers. Includes but is not limited to: vehicle concerns; vehicle accidents; subscriber agreement renewal, etc.
  • Works in collaboration with Steer partners to inform and educate Steer members / potential members about the subscription business, including assisting with sales efforts.
  • 3. Co-work with Steer Leadership, marketing and its business partners to analyze data, trends, and feedback to continually improve the service for customers and drive down fleet costs.
  • Understands and uses financial indicators/metrics to measure the performance of business.
  • Working with Steer management, analyzes market and historical data to strategize the fleet model mix and growth potential.
  • Works with business partners to manage vendor relationship while maximizing results.
  • Co-works with Steers marketing team to constantly improve the product based on market signals, customer feedback, partner input and Leadership Team feedback.
  • Attends internal and external events to promote and grow the Steer Subscription business.

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 5-8 years experience of managing small to mid-size teams who must deliver on customer service promises and business objectives
  • Experience in start-ups and/or automotive fleet operations
  • Customer-service oriented
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Resourceful and practical problem-solving
  • Ability to adapt to new situations and learn quickly, can quickly pivot from strategy to tactical, from back-office to customer-facing
  • Detail-oriented, with an ability to map tasks back to big-picture processes and goals, to include creating new processes when necessary
  • A can-do, get-it-done attitude and willingness to go outside of prescribed job duties to deliver when needed
  • Effective oral and written communication skills Preferred:
  • Customer service, operational or project management background preferred

  • The Manager of Concierge Operations manages a growing fleet of vehicles used in Steers subscription business. This person is responsible for influencing customer satisfaction, increasing revenue from subscriptions and overseeing operational effectiveness and quality of our growing fleet of vehicles. This person also supervises shift personnel and ensure operational success and financial profitability.
  • This role touches all sides of the business customer experience, new products, fleet management, growth strategy and is a great starting point to grow into more senior role that influences the companys strategy with the Steer leadership team.
