Summary/Objective

The Special Events Department at Escape Room Live is looking for an energetic, enthusiastic, self-starter to join our Special Events team. You will be representing our brand to guests who reach out via phone, email, and in person. The Special Events department is responsible for facilitating communication between our guests and the operations team to ensure that all bookings run smoothly. The Special Events Representative will also be responsible for coordinating special events from corporate team building activities to birthday party packages. This position requires someone who is high-energy, detail-oriented, and enjoys working with people.

Essential Functions

  • Monitor and respond to incoming correspondences and phone calls
  • Provide guest with information regarding frequently asked questions, venue details, and special events bookings.
  • Interact with guests in a sincere, friendly, and helpful demeanor.
  • Responsible for handling confidential information and processing payments.
  • Gather information necessary for special events to be run smoothly.
  • Greeting guests upon arrival, checking them in, and preparing them for their experience.
  • Assisting the GM in tasks relating to scheduling and marketing.

    This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

    This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.


    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

    This is a full-time position. Standard days and hours of work are reflective of the hours of operation.

    Required Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 3 or more years in customer service.
  • Additional Eligibility Qualifications
