About this Job!

Our state-of-the-art Call Center provides a variety of in-bound call support. Call center team members take back-to-back incoming calls handling and determining a resolution to escalated calls during and after their rental. Great opportunity for Students!

Schedules

  • Working Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and one weekend day is required. Tuesday or Thursday as well.
  • You must be available to work holidays.
  • (May choose 1 day off from the following: Tuesday or Thursday, and also one weekend day.)

    Weekday (Monday thru Friday)

    Option 1: 6 am - 2:30 pm (Arizona time)

    Option 2: 7 am - 3:30 pm (Arizona time)

    Option 3: 8 am - 4:30 pm (Arizona time)

    Option 4: 9 am - 5:30 pm (Arizona time)

    Day off will be Tuesday or Thursday.

    Weekend (Saturday or Sunday)

    Option 1: 6 am - 2:30 pm (Arizona time)

    Option 2: 7 am - 3:30 pm (Arizona time)

    Option 3: 8 am - 4:30 pm (Arizona time)

    Option 4: 9 am - 5:30 pm (Arizona time)

    Option 5: 6 am - 2:30 pm (Arizona time)

    Option 6: 7 am - 3:30 pm (Arizona time)

    Option 7: 8 am - 4:30 pm (Arizona time)

    Option 8: 9 am - 5:30 pm (Arizona time)

    If you do not choose Saturday or Sunday off, you could end up working both days.

  • Shift start/end times, days scheduled and total hours scheduled each week will vary based on call volume.

  • Training/Education

    Three weeks of instructor-led paid training/education. Week one is accelerated classroom education with an instructor. Week two and three are hands-on education in small groups with an instructor. After initial education work independently with additional continued education courses and counseling from the manager, assistant manager and team coach. All work duties including education must be performed at your home address.

    Training/Education for this position-

    100% attendance is required for the first 90 days of employment.

    Online Orientation -

    Monday & Thursday April 29th and May 2nd @ 6 am - 11 am or 11:30 am - 4:30 pm (Arizona Time)

    Education/Training period begins -

    Week 1. May 6th - May 10th Monday - Friday @ 11:30 am - 4:30 pm (Arizona Time)

    Week 2. May 13th May 17th Monday - Friday @ 11:30 am - 4:30 pm (Arizona Time)

    Week 3. May 20th - May 24th Monday - Friday @ 11:30 am - 4:30 pm (Arizona Time)

    Week 4 & 5 is based off of your availability during the weeks of May 27th & June 3rd.

    The following is required to work from home

  • You must have a quiet, private work area.
  • Dependent and child-care arrangements must be made as if you were working at a U-Haul site.
  • All work duties including education must be performed at your home address.
  • The following technical requirements must be met to work from home:

  • Have a non-wireless USB headset with a microphone.
  • Minimum Internet speed requirements: 5MB down / 2MB up, or greater. Preferred Internet speed for a better experience: 10MB down / 5MB up.
  • Check your Internet speed at speedtestcustom.com. You must click the menu below the GO button and choose any server in Phoenix, AZ. drop-down.
  • Have a PC or laptop with Windows 7, 8 or 10 OS.
  • Minimum RAM requirements: 8G of RAM or greater.
  • Minimum processor requirement for Windows OS: CPU score of 2500 or greater.
  • Go to this website.
  • Type the name of your processor in the space provided (do not copy/paste).
  • The number in the first column is the CPU mark (this is your CPU Score).
  • Need help finding your RAM and the name of your processor:
  • Windows OS: From the Start menu or search windows function type RAM.
  • Install and use the required Company software including a Company provided anti-virus software.
  • Have a web cam. For use interacting with your supervisor, not customers.
  • Windows OS Users should have the following installed:
  • Adobe Reader (set to default PDF viewer).
  • Web browsers: InternetExplorer, Google Chrome, and Microsoft Edge.
  • The following are not permitted when working from home due to compatibility, performance, security or other concerns:

  • Mobile hot-spot, tethering, satellite Internet service or similar.
  • Using a Proxy server or third party network.
  • Compute stick or similar device.
  • Rental, rent-to-own or public computer/laptop.
  • Working in a public place or using a public internet connection.
  • Unsecured Wi-Fi or one that does not meet with the other Wi-Fi requirements.
  • Running any non-work related programs on your computer while working.
  • Having any other anti-virus installed/in use on your computer while working other than the Company provided anti-virus software. This is a PCI (payment card industry) requirement
