Cybersecurity Concierge

Join our team of Cyber Risk professionals who collaborate with government agencies, IT professionals, and clients to support cyber security and risk consulting engagements.
Work youll doAs a Project Delivery Specialist in the Cyber Risk group you will:

  • Support Implementation and Operations Management best practices while taking ownership of tasks and/or project workstreams and guiding more junior professionals
  • Support and/or lead workstreams on engagements related but not limited to Operations & Maintenance, Helpdesk Operations, Software and Application Development and Maintenance, Financial Operations, and Project and Acquisition Management
  • Perform analysis and diagnosis of client issues
  • Contribute to deliverables and review the work of others for quality and accuracy
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the client environment and overall project scope
  • Provide cyber security expertise to verify NIST SP 800-53 security controls are implemented, resulting documentation and artifacts are current, appropriate plans are signed and up to date and provide monthly reporting of artifact and POA&M status and metrics.
  • Document assessment activities and results in sufficient detail in Cyber Sight database to enable external review of all assessment processes, artifacts, activities, results, and conclusions.
  • Conduct test readiness on remediation measures taken to remediate Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&M) created in response to discovering validated vulnerabilities or deficiencies.
  • Evaluate the impact on system security of proposed changes and reporting on that impact to the Information System Owner and the agency Cybersecurity Program Manager.

    Qualifications
    Required:
  • Typically has 5 or more years of consulting and/or industry experience
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to manage small engagements or work streams and multiple team members with confidence
  • Professional oral and written communication skills
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with experience exercising mature judgement
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role - Public Trust
  • IT risk management
  • Security assessment and authorization (SA&A)
  • SAP MM Evaluated Receipt Settle (ERS)
  • FISMA

  • Preferred:
  • Prior professional services or federal consulting experience
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Cyber Security Assessment and Management (CSAM)
  • Risk Management Framework
