In Schwab Cybersecurity Services (SCS), Office of CISO, we provide platforms, services, and security operations capabilities which enable the firm to produce successful client and shareholder outcomes securely and safely. Securing our IT assets, data, and access to applications is the core of who we are and what we do. We ensure only the appropriate entities have access to IT resources and that we adhere to best practices and standards to ensure a safe and compliant environment is maintained. Identity and Access Management has an opening for a Role Analyst, Identity and Access Management, to deliver large, complex Identity and Access Management programs in the areas of Role engineering, Provisioning/De-provisioning, Directory, Highly Privileged Accounts, Analytics, and certifications.

The individual will be responsible for coordinating departmental or cross functional teams, focused on delivering new or upgrading existing processes to mine roles and perform data analysis. Organizes cross-functional activities, ensuring completion of project tasks and stake holder sign-offs according to project schedule. Analyzes complex data inventory and generate insights to assist with building project scope. Identify and interpret trends and patterns in datasets to simplify and standardize role analysis. Creates specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements. Analyzes complex business problems to be solved with automated systems for operational efficiency. Provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that meet user requirements.

What youll do:

  • Participate in 2-3 project work streams in support of Identity and Access Management Program, in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Develop and document project scope and requirements
  • Partner with business users and act as a liaison between business and technical teams
  • Coordinate development, testing, and implementation of solution
  • Promote the Identity and Access Management policy awareness
  • Facilitate meetings with business stakeholders and get sign-offs
  • Participate in data and role analysis
  • Develop dashboard reporting and presentations

What you have:

  • 2 or more years of experience as a technology analyst in large, complex and cross functional projects, with emphasis on systems, technologies, business process redesign, and knowledge of technical environment
  • Familiarity with Identity and Access Management practices and tools
  • Demonstrated experience as an Analyst with track record of delivering business process requirements and use cases
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills, and the ability to communicate security and risk-related concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
  • Up-to-date knowledge of technological trends and developments in the area of information security and risk management
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, influencing, prioritization, decision-making and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office tools (Excel, MS Word,Visio, etc.) tool along with general familiarity with Outlook and other MS Office applications is also required

In addition, ideal candidates will also have the following desired qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree preferred
  • Knowledge of Identity and Access Management components (facilities, equipment, people, etc.)
  • Relevant information security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISA or CISM) preferred
  • Background experience in financial services industry
