Data Analyst

ADP is hiring a Data Analyst. In this position you will be responsible for the continued development and evolution of key risk indicators (KRIs), insightful analytics and process enhancements that will support global Internal Audit s data driven transformation initiatives: I. Automation & Analytics, II. Continuous Monitoring & Real Time Reporting, and III. Risk-Centric Agile Auditing.

As part of Data Analytics & Visualization within Internal Audit, be a champion for automating dashboards and providing analytic support, as well as a change agent to ensure accurate and high quality data is collected and analyzed on a consistent basis. Leverage a variety of systems and tools to provide information that is insightful and drives action, supporting ADP s ability to achieve continuous monitoring and real-time reporting of risk across the entire portfolio.

The IA Data Analyst is responsible for analysis and project management support for all aspects of ADP s enterprise risk profile, with a focus on predictive analytics, real-time reporting and risk linked ad-hoc analysis.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Analysis:

  • Conducts Data Analytics & Visualization activities supporting risk assessment, development of dashboards, and ad-hoc analytics
  • Provides professional consulting in the areas of tool customizations, business processes, analytics, complex custom reports and special projects for the Internal Audit Dept. as well as assurance partners
  • Work with dept. Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to define requirements related to reporting, analytics, trending and communications.
  • Create business requirements based on detailed analysis SME needs
  • Coordinates and consults with Corporate IT for customization work as needed
  • Develops ad-hoc inquiries to assist in reporting, categorization and analysis
  • Supports Internal Audit monthly reporting and analytics

Project Management:

  • Participates in establishing and monitoring of planned implementation schedule and reports regular updates on status.
  • Ensures issues and risks are documented; work with team members to resolve

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • 3-5 years of related experience in business/risk analytics, financial modeling or statistical analysis
  • B.S. in Finance, Accounting, Statistics or other related fields

Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:

  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to interpret and present data into actionable recommendations
  • Strong verbal and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to work with and communicate at all levels of staff and management
  • Excellent project/time-management skills
  • Advanced experience using reporting tools, preferably Tableau
  • Strong Excel skills required, including data modeling and ad-hoc analysis
