DevOps professional with Java experience

You’ll be part of a highly-skilled globally distributed team that delivers a suite of cloud infrastructure and services upon which our product development teams can build, launch and operate their systems. We are a mixture of Developers with an affinity for operations and Ops Engineers who can program. You will engage and collaborate with product development engineers (our customers), to understand their needs and problems, then create, leverage, and support solutions that increase engineer joy and are a force multiplier for enabling the potential of our teams.

Important Criteria:

• MS or BS in computer science, related fields, physics, software engineering, or perhaps equivalent work experience
• Eight or even more seasons administrating generation Linux devices in a 24x7 environment
• Experience with AWS (CLI/APIs, EC2, VPC) Experience with infrastructure hands-free operation equipment as CloudFormation, Terraform, and so on.
• Experience with more than one of Python, Ruby, Bash, or perhaps equivalent
• Experience managing and creating CI/CD pipeline as Spinnaker or Jenkins
• Acquainted with edition management using Git
• Good understanding of typical security principles
• A desire for constant improvement Ability to communicate effectively and clearly both created and more than video calls.
• Encounter mentoring engineers
• Encounter troubleshooting complicated systems
• Harsh experience leading DevOps initiatives throughout several teams

Desired Criteria:

• Preference for hands-on expertise with Serverless Architecture, Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with server-side programming languages as Equivalent Experience, NodeJS, Scala, or Java with performance assessment (JMeter, Gatling, etc.)
• Managing distributed methods spanning numerous AWS areas / data-centers
• Experience with possibly Kanban or Scrum
