Education Four-year university degree or college diploma preferred. Preferably in the field of computer science or other related academic fields. Industry certifications a plus: CCIE, CCNP, CISSP, MCSE Experience 8-10 years of relevant work/management experience. 5 years of experience managing and configuring enterprise-wide LANs, WANs, WLANs, VPNs, etc. 3-5 years successful leadership of an infrastructure team. Direct experience in opening new office locations and/or relocating offices. Experience in building infrastructure and telecommunications from the ground up. Excellent knowledge of protocols and standards, including Active Directory, Group Policies, Office 365, Core Switching/Routing, SSL/IPSec, SAN, Virtualization, Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Azure Services. Hands-on experience troubleshooting hardware such as servers, routers, bridges, switches, hubs SDWAN, network interface cards, and so on. Knowledge and understanding of system flow charts, data processing concepts, and telecommunications principles. Experience installing network cabling and telephony systems. Demonstrated success as a hands on IT professional who is eager to develop creative solutions to solve problems as well as to identify and pursue new technologies to provide strategic support to the business. Extensive experience in managing Windows server environments, including Active Directory, Networking, Firewalls, Virtualization, Office 365, Lync/Skype Experience in a hosted/cloud-solution environment. Has directed the effective delivery of networks and systems to manage and influence disaster recovery and business continuity process’ to support a highly resilient network environment.
