JDog Junk Removal & Hauling, Empire, A Military Veteran Partners Company, is an American-owned and Veteran-operated, full-service, junk removal company servicing residential and commercial customers. Our team is made up of Veterans, military spouses, Veteran family members and others who embrace our same values and work ethic. We have a mission to EMPOWER, SERVE and PROTECT. We do this by:

  • Empowering Veterans through entrepreneurship by creating career and employment opportunities for Veterans, military spouses, Veteran family members and others who share our same values and work ethic.
  • Serving our community by partnering with local charities that can reuse the items we haul away or benefit from resale proceeds.
  • Protecting the environment using repurpose, resale, reuse, and recycling strategies that keep 70-80% of the items we remove from our customers homes and businesses out of the landfill.
  • We are looking for a District Commander to oversee all aspects of a JDog district, to include but not limited to personnel management, sales processes, community relationships, and be the face of the local JDog embodying the brands values in all that they think, do, and say. Providing exceptional account management for our existing customers in coordination with Fleet / Operations is critical to the success of this position.



  • Recruit, hire and train a highly qualified staff
  • Supervise team of junk removal specialists, first-line leaders, sales people, warehouse managers and logistics coordinators
  • Manage staff schedule
  • Conduct regular employee training and reviews
  • Cultivate a culture of safety to minimize workplace injuries
  • Enforce JDog Empire policies and procedures
  • Logistics:

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of a warehouse and office spaces
  • Maintain fleet of vehicles to include routine and non-routine maintenance
  • Oversee daily operations to include assigning staff to jobs and tasks, scheduling clients for jobs, and ensuring client follow-up as needed
  • Independently make decisions related to business development and customer service.
  • Work within an assigned budget
  • Sales:

  • Drive sales through outside sales and business development efforts
  • Schedule and participate in networking/community events
  • Strategically manage marketing campaigns to generate leads
  • Lead generation including grassroots marketing
  • Collaboration:

  • Participate in a weekly JDog Empire Operations conference call
  • Participate in a District Commander meeting/call with other JDog Empire District Commanders. Share what is working, not working, big wins, etc.

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a geographically separated team
  • An affinity and passion for building, developing and maintaining a team
  • Confident in generating sales and training sales people in sales tactics, specifically developing and nurturing B2B relationships
  • Ability to manage and drive four revenue streams: junk removal, moving, demolition, scrap/resale
  • Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills in person, on the telephone and via email
  • Highly organized, proficient in data management, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Job Type: Full-time

    Salary: $80,000.00 /year
