POSITION SUMMARY

The Education and Program Manager works with the Executive Director and the Education Committee to deliver exceptional client experiences. The Education and Program Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating the continuing education initiatives of the client partner while supporting the Education Committee.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage annual call for volunteers
  • Manage Call for Proposals process for two annual events and work with Programming Chairs and Committees to select proposals
  • Speaker management for conference Apply for and secure continuing education approvals (CEUs) for each programmed session Prepare final materials for on-site program book, mobile app, course evaluations, and CEU certificates Conduct post-event evaluation surveys and prepare results for presentation, analysis, and continuous improvement of future events and member experience
  • Coordinate up to 70 speakers for Annual Conference
  • Manage presentation and handout deadlines, ensuring content is submitted accurately and meets necessary standards
  • Other support activities
  • Manage contracts with Keynote speakers and/or speaker bureaus and coordinate onsite VIP management
  • Manage grant applications process; process payments to recipients; ensure proper reporting by recipients
  • Manage Annual Awards application and selection process
  • Create annual opportunity for members to visit Washington D.C. in conjunction with Lobbyists Develop a pipeline of subject matter experts on a variety of topics relevant to the membership
  • Determine invitee list
  • Manage invitation process
  • Process all travel expense reimbursement
  • Manage programming with guidance from Education Committee
  • Contact speakers
  • Manage CEU applications
  • Administer live webinars
  • Set up programs in online learning platform and manage archive of online offerings, including:
  • Maintaining CEU applications
  • Building online courses
  • Working with Education Committee to ensure archived content remains current
  • This is not meant to be all inclusive as other duties may be assigned.
  • EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE/REQUIRED PROFICIENCIES

    Bachelors degree preferred, high school diploma required. Advanced experience with Word, Excel and PowerPoint and Google Gmail.
