USIT is searching for an ERP Business/Architectural Specialist - Master aka Chief Engineer -Must have U.S Government experience

Subject Matter Expert - Senior

  • This position is responsible for defining and developing business processes, policies, roles and responsibilities, and performance metrics. Duties may include conducting analyses of business processes implementing process improvements and performing cost/benefit analyses. Individuals in this job family may have regular interaction with clients.

  • Influences the development of solutions that impact strategic project/program/family goals and business results. Recommends and implements new solutions, processes, policies, standards in support of functions strategy and operations.
  • Problems are complex and typically impact multiple area or disciplines. Provides measurable input to new solutions, processes or standards in order to achieve functional/project objectives.
  • Requires ability to communicate with executive leadership (internally or client) regarding matters of significant importance to the organization/project. Works to convince others to accept areas view/current practices and agree/accept new concepts, practices, and approaches.
  • Has expert knowledge of industry practices, advanced techniques, and solutions within a professional discipline to develop new standards, processes, and solutions. Serves as a subject matter expert across Leidos.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of a particular area. Provide technical knowledge and analysis of highly specialized applications and operational environments, high-level functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation and implementation advice on exceptionally complex problems that require extensive knowledge of the subject for effective implementation. Participates, as required, in all phases of software development
  • This position is responsible for technical planning, system hardware-software-network design, development and integration, verification and validation, and fielding. Evaluates alternatives including cost and risk, supportability and analyses for total systems. Duties include performing systems requirements analysis, functional analysis, timeline analysis, trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition, technical management, integration, system testing, and quality assurance.
  • Influences the development of solutions that impact strategic project/program goals and business results. Recommends and develops new technical solutions, products, and/or standards in support of functions strategy and operations. Leads and manages works of other technical staff that has a significant impact on project results/outputs.
  • Resolves highly complex problems using significant application of technical knowledge, conceptualizing, reasoning and interpretation. Develops solutions that are highly innovative, and achieved through research and integration of best practices.
  • Requires ability to communicate with executive leadership (internally or client) regarding matters of significant importance to the organization/project. Works to convince others to accept areas view/current practices and agree/accept new concepts, practices, and approaches.
  • Has an in-depth understanding of technical principles, theories, concepts and their application across a range of programs. Serves as a subject matter expert within the technical domain area.
  • Provides analysis related to the design, development, and integration of hardware, software, man-machine interfaces, and all system level requirements to provide an integrated IT solution. Develops integrated system test requirement, strategies, devices, and systems. Directs overall system level testing BS degree and 12 15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10 13 years of prior relevant experience.

  • BA degree and 15+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 13+ years of prior relevant experience.

Must have an Active US Clearance
